The history of the Jaume family began with Henri Chauvet, and the Baron Le Roy, who were responsible for the origins of this appellation.
Winemakers from father to son since 1905, the passion and the tradition have been perpetuated for more than a century : in the eighties by Pascal and Richard and today, Anthony, Vincent and Audrey, the fifth generation has joined the Family story.
The Jaume family understood very early on that the soil was not just a simple medium, but a living source of energy.
For more than 25 years we have been taking the greatest care of our vineyard, using reasoned, sustainable, and responsible vineyard management practices. In this way we ensure that balance is maintained in the soils by creating harmonious conditions for the coexistence of the earth and the vegetation.
We highlight the typicity of our terroir with full respect for the environment, which ensures the quality and the expression of our wines.
The Jaume family estate spans 100 hectares at Vinsobres, a Côtes-du-Rhône Cru in the Drôme Provençale, in the south of France. Nestling in the pre-Alps, the village faces the majestic Mont Ventoux.
